Privacy notice
Last updated: 14 October 2026 (shorter "where it is kept"; paid plans not open yet). This is written in plain words on purpose.
What Ztrimly is
Ztrimly is a small website that helps you write down your subscriptions, IOUs and money pools. It only keeps records of what you type in. It never holds, sends or collects money.
What we keep about you
- Your sign-in: your email address, and the basic details Google shares when you sign in (like your name and picture). We never see your Google password.
- What you type in: subscriptions (name, price, dates, category), IOUs (the other person's name, amount, reason, dates), payment lines, your settings (currency, contract dates, exchange rates you typed), and your plan (Free or Paid).
- Money pools: if you keep a pool, the member names you type, the optional Gmail address of each member, deposits, loans and payments.
- On your own phone or computer: the page saves the latest exchange rates in your browser so it works faster. Nothing else is saved there.
Payments
Paid plans are not open yet, and Ztrimly does not take any payment. If that changes, this page will say how, and the date below will change. Ztrimly never sees card or wallet details. If you message the owner by email, he will see your email address and what you write.
Why
Only to run the website for you: to show your own list, enforce the free and paid limits, and let pool members look at the pool they belong to.
Who can see it
- You see your own subscriptions and IOUs. Other users cannot.
- Pool members can see everything in the pool they belong to: names, deposits, loans and payments. They never see each other's Gmail addresses. Only the keeper who typed them can.
- The owner of Ztrimly can technically open the database to run and repair the service. Please do not type things you want to keep secret from the owner.
- We do not sell your data and we show no ads.
Where it is kept
Your data is kept with trusted services (Supabase and Cloudflare). We never sell it.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. If you cancel a subscription in Ztrimly, it is only hidden, and its payment history is kept so your records stay correct. Deleting your account erases everything.
Your choices
- Copy: open the Backup tab and press Save a backup.
- Delete everything: open the Backup tab, scroll down and press Delete my account. If you keep an open pool, close it first. Pools kept by other people are not touched.
- Ask a question or ask for help: write to the contact below.
Other people's information
If you type another person's name or Gmail (for an IOU or a pool), please make sure they are happy for you to do that. If someone asks you to remove them, you can edit or delete that record.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes too.
